💊 Travel Pharmacist Opportunity – Aurora, CO


📍 Location: Aurora, Colorado
📆 Contract: 13 Weeks | Start Date: 1/19/2026
Schedule: Days

  • Mon–Fri: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Sat/Sun: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Call required

💰 Pay Package:

  • Weekly Gross: $2,879
  • OT Rate: $65/hr

✅ Facility Requirements (Must Be Attached to Submission)

  • Active Colorado Board of Pharmacy License
  • BLS Certification (American Heart Association only)
  • 1 year of recent hospital pharmacy experience (preferred)

🔄 Floating Details

  • Float between Kindred Aurora (3 days/week) and Kindred Denver (1 day/week)
  • Schedule may adjust based on business needs

🩺 Position Overview

The Pharmacist collaborates closely with the Director of Pharmacy and healthcare teams to ensure safe, effective, and compliant medication use. Responsibilities include:

  • Interpreting, compounding, and dispensing medications per legal and professional standards
  • Supervising and supporting pharmacy technicians
  • Reviewing medication orders for appropriateness, interactions, allergies, and dosing (renal function, age, weight, disease state)
  • Providing pharmacokinetics dosing services and documenting per protocol
  • Supporting clinical, quality management, and education initiatives
  • Ensuring aseptic technique, IV preparation accuracy, and medication safety checks
  • Maintaining pharmacy security, controlled substance compliance, and required logs
  • Prioritizing STAT, Now, and time-sensitive orders efficiently
  • Serving adult and geriatric patient populations
  • Capable of entering 40+ orders per 4-hour shift
