Job Title - Auto Offer

Anesthesia Technician (Travel)

Required Certifications

BLS Certification
Certified Anesthesia Technician (Cer.A.T.) – ASATT
OR
Certified Anesthesia Technologist (Cer.A.T.T.) – ASATT

Experience Requirements

1 year of experience acceptable
Pediatric experience preferred
First-time travelers accepted
Preferred experience with GE anesthesia machines and Mindray

Common Duties & Responsibilities

Cleaning anesthesia machines
Setting up anesthesia circuits
Performing anesthesia machine checks
Wiping down anesthesia machines
Inventory management of anesthesia machines, Omnicells, and supply cabinets
Restocking supplies and transporting items as needed
Multitasking in a fast-paced OR environment
Does NOT start IVs
- May set up for arterial lines and assist CRNAs
Responds to emergency alerts, including:
- OB STAT
- Anesthesia STAT
- Trauma alerts
- Stroke alerts

Anesthesia Coverage

Anesthesiologists & CRNAs in-house 24/7
Pediatric trauma program available
Main OR and CVOR perform urgent cases
30-minute response time for urgent cases

Equipment & Systems

Equipment Brands: GE anesthesia machines, Mindray
Charting System: EPIC
Telemetry: No tele requirement

Floating Requirements

Floating within the department
Very rare potential to float to Meridian and Nampa ORs
