Job Details

Position: Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse (LVN/LPN)
Specialty: Non-RN | Radiology / Special Procedures
Facility: Kaiser Permanente – Glenlake Medical Offices
Location: 20 Glenlake Pkwy, Atlanta, GA 30328
Contract Type: Temp (Auto Register)
Start Date: 01/19/2026
Duration: ~8 weeks
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Shift: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Hours: 8 hours/day | 40 hours/week

Job Responsibilities

Assist with pre- and post-operative care for breast biopsy procedures
Support radiology procedures including:
- Stereotactic biopsies
- SAVI Scout procedures
- Breast ultrasound biopsies
Prepare patients for procedures and provide post-procedure monitoring
Assist physicians and radiology staff during procedures
Monitor patient status, vitals, and comfort
Maintain accurate documentation per Kaiser policies
Follow infection control, safety, and quality standards

Requirements

License:
- Active LPN/LVN license (State of Georgia or compact as applicable)
Certifications:
- BLS – REQUIRED
Experience:
- Procedural or outpatient experience preferred
- Candidates without procedural experience will be trained
Skills:
- Strong patient care and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced radiology environment
Other:
- Ability to commit to full assignment dates
- Reliable weekday availability
