Description
Shift: 8H Days 0800-1700 or 0900-1800 Monday-Friday
* 2 years ped's experience required** per director Key Responsibilities:
Qualifications: • Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Either o American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) o Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (AOTE)
• Current and valid Florida state Occupational Therapy license.
• NBCOT certification.
• CPR/First Aid certification
• At least 3 years of pediatric clinical experience (preferred but not always required). • Strong knowledge of pediatric diagnoses such as autism spectrum disorder, developmental delays, sensory processing disorder, and cerebral palsy. Skills and Attributes:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a child-centered approach.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility and creativity in treatment approaches. Work Environment:
• May work in clinical, school, home, or community settings.
• Requires physical activity, including lifting, squatting, and playing on the floor with children. Additional Information.
