Description

Evaluate pediatric patients’ respiratory status, including vital signs, blood gases, and ventilatory needs.
Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans in collaboration with physicians and nurses.
Initiate, monitor, and manage mechanical ventilation for neonates, infants, and children.
Assist in airway management including intubation support, tracheostomy care, and suctioning.
Perform and interpret diagnostic tests such as arterial blood gases, pulse oximetry, and pulmonary function tests (age-appropriate).
Assist in emergency situations including resuscitation, code blue, and rapid response events.
Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR (Epic or facility-specific systems).

Must have IL State License of RRT Must have BLS, ACLS, PALS and NRP Peds Experience Highly Preferred
