Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience REQUIRED
• First-time travelers accepted
• Required, Epic

Patient Population

• Neonates to Pediatrics

Required Certifications

• BLS
• ACLS
• RRT
• NRP
• PALS

Clinical Skills & Work Settings

• NICU experience REQUIRED
• High-risk deliveries REQUIRED (must have direct experience)
• Umbilical cord blood gases
• Experience with Draeger and Servo I ventilators REQUIRED
• Required Clinical Skills:
  • Pulmonary toileting
  • ABG interpretation
  • Basic EKG
  • BiPAP
  • CPAP
  • Trach collar
  • Surfactant administration

Systems & Scrubs

• EMR: Epic (REQUIRED)
• Scrub Color: Hunter Green

Scheduling & Time-Off

• RTO: Maximum 7 days
• Weekends: Every other weekend unless otherwise specified
• Call: Not specified

Floating Requirements

• Floating within the facility, including Adult care, as needed
• May float to sister campus: Piedmont Eastside South

Holiday Requirements

• If 1 major holiday falls during the assignment → traveler must work it
• If 2 major holidays fall → traveler must work both
• If 3 major holidays fall → traveler must work 2 of 3

Major Holidays Include:

• New Year’s Eve / New Year’s Day
• Memorial Day
• Independence Day
• Labor Day
• Thanksgiving / Black Friday
• Christmas Eve / Christmas Day

Compliance Requirements

• Full compliance required to start on time
• If compliance is not completed in time, start date will be pushed back 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule

Aya Offer Information

• Once the candidate has signed and confirmation is sent, the manager has 48 hours to review the profile and determine fit (unit, schedule, expertise)
• Aya Offer available only if:
  • Clinical pass is achieved within RTO guidelines
  • Candidate meets all specific facility requirements
