Description

Responsibilities
Assist the circulator and surgeon during surgical procedures
Maintain a sterile field and ensure aseptic technique throughout procedures
Prepare operating rooms, instruments, and supplies before surgery
Anticipate surgical team needs and pass instruments and materials
Ensure patient safety and proper positioning during procedures
Follow all hospital, state, and federal policies and regulations
Participate in on-call coverage as required

Requirements

Experience
1 year of Surgical Technologist experience in an operating room setting

Licenses/Certifications
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent, as required by state or facility
BLS certification

Education
Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program
