Description:

• Perform a wide variety of technical procedures, requiring independent judgment and ingenuity.
• Requires initiative to apply appropriate skills to facilitate a diagnosis.
• May be assigned independent responsibilities by Lead Technologist,
• Administrative Director, or Operations Manager. 
• Proper care of the client in accordance with the departmental and hospital policies and procedures is required.
• May be responsible for assigned areas to assume responsibilities of supervision or instruction to department personnel as determined by Operations Manager or Lead Technologist. 
• Practices infection control and body substance isolation in clinical practice in compliance with departmental and hospital policies and OSHA standards.
• Maintains patient confidentiality at all times.
• Demonstrates proper operation of PACS, HIS and RIS computer systems.
• Demonstrates ability to operate and trouble shoot CR, DR and PACs applications.
• Attends annual mandatory education to include blood borne pathogens, infection control, and body substance isolation.
• Maintains department competencies as required.
• Must have excellent patient care skills. Must be current with all continuing education for both radiology and mammography

Qualifications:

• 2 Years X-Ray experience, 1 YEAR CURRENT EXPERIENCE - Required
• 2 Years Current MAMMOGRAPHY experience - Required
• ARRT (R) Certification - Required
• ARRT (M) Certification - Required
• Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred
• Must be willing to work weekends and evenings 

Details:

• No block scheduling requests are acceptable.
• ARRT, BLS (AHA), Massachusetts license - Required
• Shift: 8 hr shifts, 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM
• 40hr guaranteed
• Weekend Requirements: TBD/Holiday coverage if required
• On Call Requirements: None
