Description
Job Title: Mammography Technologist
Location: Raleigh, NC
Pay Rate: $37 – $42 per hour
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Mammography Technologist to join a well-established outpatient imaging facility in Raleigh, NC. The ideal candidate will be skilled in screening and diagnostic mammography and committed to delivering high-quality images while ensuring an excellent patient experience.
Responsibilities:
- Perform screening and diagnostic mammography, including 2D/3D tomosynthesis.
- Ensure patient comfort by clearly explaining procedures and providing compassionate care.
- Produce high-quality images in accordance with established protocols and safety standards.
- Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and periodic quality control testing on mammography equipment.
- Accurately document patient history, imaging findings, and maintain complete records.
- Collaborate closely with radiologists and clinical staff to support accurate diagnosis and workflow efficiency.
- Assist with interventional breast procedures as needed.
Requirements:
- Associate’s degree in Radiologic/Imaging Technology from an accredited institution.
- ARRT Mammography certification or registry-eligible (must obtain certification within the required timeframe).
- Active BLS (CPR) certification for Healthcare Providers.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and patient-focused approach.
- Experience with PACS and imaging systems preferred.
