Description
Position Summary
The Mobile Radiologic Technologist is responsible for providing high-quality mobile X-Ray and EKG services (as applicable) to nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other assigned locations. This role requires strong technical skills, professionalism, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, mobile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and process diagnostic X-Rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment
- Ensure images are clinically diagnostic and technically competent
- Transmit completed X-Ray exams to a Radiologist for interpretation
- Perform EKGs as required and transmit results to a Cardiologist for interpretation
- Transport, unload, and maneuver portable X-Ray equipment into facilities
- Scan and submit exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily per protocol
- Maintain clear and regular communication with dispatch and management
- Interact professionally with patients, facility staff, peers, and supervisors
- Maintain assigned vehicle and imaging equipment in proper working condition
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards
Physical Demands
- Push/pull portable X-Ray equipment weighing 50–100 lbs with the assistance of ramps and pulleys
- Exert 50 lbs or more of force approximately 16–24 times per day
- Frequent movement throughout healthcare facilities and patient homes
- Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions
Required Qualifications
- ARRT Certification – Required
- California State Radiologic Technologist License – Required
- Valid Driver’s License – Required
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong communication and customer service skills
