Description

Position Summary

The Mobile Radiologic Technologist is responsible for providing high-quality mobile X-Ray and EKG services (as applicable) to nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other assigned locations. This role requires strong technical skills, professionalism, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, mobile environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform and process diagnostic X-Rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment
  • Ensure images are clinically diagnostic and technically competent
  • Transmit completed X-Ray exams to a Radiologist for interpretation
  • Perform EKGs as required and transmit results to a Cardiologist for interpretation
  • Transport, unload, and maneuver portable X-Ray equipment into facilities
  • Scan and submit exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily per protocol
  • Maintain clear and regular communication with dispatch and management
  • Interact professionally with patients, facility staff, peers, and supervisors
  • Maintain assigned vehicle and imaging equipment in proper working condition
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards

Physical Demands

  • Push/pull portable X-Ray equipment weighing 50–100 lbs with the assistance of ramps and pulleys
  • Exert 50 lbs or more of force approximately 16–24 times per day
  • Frequent movement throughout healthcare facilities and patient homes
  • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions

Required Qualifications

  • ARRT Certification – Required
  • California State Radiologic Technologist License – Required
  • Valid Driver’s License – Required
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
