Job Opportunity: Travel RN - Labor & Delivery (L&D)

Location: Johnson, Arkansas
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 8 weeks
Shift: Nights (7 PM - 7 AM), every other weekend required
Call Shifts: 2 per scheduled period

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide care during the antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases of obstetrical care to Labor and Delivery patients. Responsibilities include:

• Utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies
• Demonstrating critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership for safe delivery of care
• Maintaining clinical competencies through continuing education
• Delegating patient care priorities based on staff education and experience
• Providing direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care

Requirements

• Valid RN license in Arkansas
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience, including experience within the last year
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
