RT Traveler for Golisano
Department: RT
# treatments per day - 20-25
Certs (BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP?) RRT or is CRT acceptable?: RRT is preferred. Must have BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP for NICU.
Types of patients (adults, peds, and neonates?) Peds & Neonates
What areas do they cover (Inpatient, Outpatient, ER, Rehab, Sleep Lab, etc.) NICU or PICU
Experience or 'Must have' skills: Must have 2 or more years experience working in PICU and or level III or greater NICU
Job Duties (ie: Do RTs draw ABGs, perform EKGs, etc.): All aspects of respiratory care. Duties include aerogen, Volara, cough assist, IPV, NAVA, Hamilton and Servo ventilators, airway management, intrahospital transport, etc...
Are RTs Required to be able to Intubate Independently or only to assist? Assist only.
Respiratory Manager/Supervisor/Lead Therapist? Brian Ringler, manager and Paige Lawson,Supervisor
Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?) Will permit preference scheduling with a commitment of 6 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule (weekends are Fri, Sat, and Sun shifts). RT will not be the only RT in house. We prefer to staff with 8 RTs per shift.

Scrub Color/Dress Code - Stone/light Gray
RT Equipment (Brand for Vents, Cpap, Bipap, High Flow) - Hamilton and Servo - Vents, Respironics & Hamilton - BiPAP, and Fisher Paykel - HFNC
Hospitalist or Intensivist in house - Yes
Department Specific Orientation: Yes timeframe will be dependent upon previous experience
