Travel Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (ER)
Location: Albuquerque, NM
Start Date: 03/23/2026
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights | 3×12s (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Weekly Pay: $2,226.80

Job Overview
An experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse is needed for a high-volume, Level I Trauma and teaching hospital. This role supports a busy emergency department with a large percentage of admitted and ED holding patients. Strong trauma and resuscitation experience is essential.
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency nursing care to trauma and medical patients
- Manage ventilated patients, IV drips, vasopressors, and continuous sedation
- Perform triage, rapid assessments, and emergency interventions
- Administer blood products and manage central and arterial lines
- Interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias
- Care for patients with CVA, neuro trauma, spinal cord injury, and TBI
- Safely administer medications using barcode scanning
- Document care accurately in the electronic medical record
- Float within scope to ED holding areas and adult PCUs based on staffing needs
Requirements
- Active RN license (New Mexico license may pend at submission)
- Minimum 2 years of recent ER experience
- Level II Trauma experience required (Level I strongly preferred)
- BLS, ACLS, PALS required
- TNCC required prior to submission
- NIHSS required (may pend until compliance deadline)
- Cerner charting experience preferred
- Travel experience preferred but not required
