Stepdown/MS RN – Day/Night Shift Shift: Day 3×12 (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) / Night 3×12 (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) Experience: Min 2 years | First-time travelers not accepted Ratios: 1:2 | Every 3rd weekend (day shift) Certs: ACLS, BLS, PALS (NRP preferred) Floating: Med/Surg & other units as resource On-call: No | Block schedule: No Locals: Not accepted (100-mile radius) | Pending license: Yes RTO: Ideally ≤5 days | Guaranteed Hours: Facility may cancel up to 3 shifts Skills & Requirements: Charge nurse experience required | Epic charting Telemetry/PCU/Stepdown experience: dysrhythmia interpretation & management, RRT usage IV therapy & phlebotomy: arterial, central, PICC, peripheral lines, blood products Endocrine/Metabolic: IV insulin protocols & titration Patient types: CHF, A-Fib with RVR, DKA, ETOH withdrawal, ARDS, pneumonia, sepsis, surgical, ortho, OB/GYN, podiatry, urology, delirium Procedures: Central line insertion, arterial line, cardioversion Equipment: NICOM, Nihon Kohden Facility: Critical Access | Level IV trauma | Magnet-recognized 34 beds | Scrubs: Navy blue | Charting: Epic/Excellian | Parking: Free
