PCU RN – Night Shift (Float Pool) Shift: Night 3×12 (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) Experience: 1–2 years | First-time travelers OK Ratio: 1:5 Weekends: 8 shifts per 6-week schedule (F/S/S) Floating: Float pool position; no home unit – covers ~5 Med/Surg/Intermediate/PCU units and other metro campuses as needed Certifications: BLS, NIHSS required | ACLS preferred Skills: Telemetry: cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation/management, on-unit monitoring Cardiovascular: pre/post cardiac cath, sheath removal, emergency response Gastrointestinal: feeding tube care/management IV/Phlebotomy: port access, central line care, blood product administration Patient conditions: sepsis, wounds, ETOH, SI, renal failure, AFib, GIB, stroke, COVID Technology: Virtual Nurses, 12-lead EKG, AirVo, Voalte, Omnicell On-call: No | Block schedule: No Locals: Not accepted (must live >75 miles) | Pending license: No RTO: Max 7 days | Guaranteed hours: 3 shifts per 13 weeks
