Travel Physical Therapist – Veteran’s Home (Walla Walla, WA)

Assignment: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Monday–Friday, Day Shift (40 hrs/week)
Start Date: ASAP

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Travel Physical Therapist (PT) to join the rehabilitation team at a Veteran’s Home in Walla Walla, WA. This role focuses on delivering high-quality therapy services to our honored veterans, helping them achieve optimal mobility and independence.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs for residents.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve strength, balance, and functional mobility.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care.
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with facility and state guidelines.
• Educate residents and caregivers on therapy techniques and home exercise programs.

Requirements

• Active Physical Therapist license in WA (or compact eligible).
• Minimum 1 year of recent PT experience (long-term care or rehab preferred).
• Current BLS certification.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
