Description

Registered Nurse – Med Surg / Telemetry

Location: Vero Beach, FL

Hourly Pay: $38.50/hr
Shift: Night Shift
Hours: 36 hours/week (3x12)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: January 20, 2026

Job Details

Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts
Shift time: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
Floating required to sister facilities within scope (up to 20 miles)
First-time travelers accepted

Unit Details

Med Surg / Telemetry Overflow unit caring for acute and telemetry patients. Experience with higher-acuity cardiac and stroke patients is required.

Charting System: Epic
Facility Type: Short-term acute care, teaching hospital

Requirements

Active RN license (pending license accepted)
Minimum 18 months acute care telemetry experience
2 years experience preferred
MUST have PCU or Cardiac Tele experience (must be reflected in work history)
Experience with vasoactive drips and stroke patients required
BLS (AHA or client) required
ACLS required at time of submission
NIHSS required (must obtain prior to start)
