Description

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Location: Santa Rosa, CA

Weekly Pay: $2,438
Shift: Day Shift
Hours: 36 hours/week (3x12)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: January 26, 2026

Job Details

  • Day shift: 3x12-hour shifts
  • Shift time: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
  • Every other weekend required
  • Guaranteed hours: 36 per week

Unit Details

Respiratory Therapy Department supporting adult critical care and Level III (or higher) NICU patients in an acute care hospital setting.

Charting System: Epic (preferred)

Requirements

  • Graduate of an NBRC-accredited Respiratory Therapy program
  • Active Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
  • BLS required
  • NRP required
  • Minimum 2 years of acute care respiratory therapy experience
  • Strong experience in Adult ICU and Level III or higher NICU

Skills and Experience

  • Advanced ventilator management across all patient populations
  • Oxygen delivery methods and respiratory monitoring
  • Respiratory patient assessments and clinical pathway management
  • Medication administration related to respiratory care
  • Interpretation of ABGs, pulmonary function tests, and lab results
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for respiratory equipment
  • Excellent communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams
