- Days: Monday – Friday
- Shift Length: 8 hours
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
- Weekends/Holidays: Rare, no call requirements
Job Description
Seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Technician to join their Central Sterile Processing Department supporting the Operating Room. This is a high-volume, Level I trauma-style environment covering a wide range of surgical services. First-time travelers are welcome.
The facility utilizes EPIC charting and SQ Track for instrument tracking. This is a fast-paced department handling approximately 60–70 cases per day, including DaVinci and Mako robotics.
Duties
- Decontaminate, inspect, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments
- Operate washers, steam sterilizers, and low-temperature sterilization systems
- Monitor sterilization cycles and biological/chemical indicators
- Maintain accurate documentation and tracking records (SQ Track)
- Store and distribute sterile instruments and supplies
- Ensure compliance with infection control and regulatory standards
- Float throughout the SPD department as needed

Education / Certifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Required Certifications:
- CRCST (HSPA) or CBSPD
