Interim Director of Nursing (DON) — Skilled Nursing Facility

We are seeking an experienced Interim Director of Nursing to support a 130 bed Skilled Nursing Facility in Lynchburg, VA. This is a leadership assignment focused on quality of care, staffing oversight, and regulatory compliance.

Assignment Details

Location: Lynchburg, VA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Length: 6 weeks to start
Setting: Skilled Nursing / Long Term Care
Census: Approximately 130 beds

Responsibilities

Provide oversight of nursing operations and clinical care delivery
Lead and support nursing staff, scheduling, and staffing plans
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
Participate in surveys, audits, and quality improvement initiatives
Support resident care standards and clinical outcomes

Requirements

Active RN license
Prior DON or ADON leadership experience in a SNF/LTC setting
Strong regulatory and survey knowledge
Ability to manage staffing, workflow, and clinical priorities

Compensation

$2,600 weekly
OT must be approved prior to exceeding 40 hours
