Description

Experience:
- Minimum 2 years pediatric scrub experience
- First-time travelers require 5 years CVOR experience
Certifications:
- BLS (American Heart Association only)
Education:
- Completed surgical technologist program or equivalent experience

Skills / Procedural Experience:

Pediatric & adult surgical cases (general, orthopedic, neuro, urology, CVOR, plastics, ophthalmology)
Pediatric cardiovascular surgeries: arterial switch, ASD repair, ECMO, Fontan, Norwood, VAD, PDA repair, Tetralogy of Fallot, etc.
General surgical procedures: appendectomy, cholecystectomy, colon resection, hernia repairs, laparoscopic-assisted procedures, mastectomy, thyroidectomy
Specialized procedures: Da Vinci Xi robotic system, PEG tubes, endoscopic procedures, trauma cases (burns, GSW, MVA)
Equipment & instrumentation: case carts, cell saver, electrosurgical units, fiber optic equipment, drills, scopes
