Description
UNIT: Cardiac Renal Unit/CRU/5500- 7550
**Clinical Interview with Manager Approval**
Minimum Experience REQUIRED: 3 years of strong Tele/M/S, 2 travel assignment, trauma level II experience.
Required Certs: Must have current active compact license. AHA BLS, AHA ACLS and NIHSS.
Charting Experience: Recent EPIC experience required (will be required to do a checkoff class)
Patient Population: High acuity – Cardiac/Tele/Stepdown, Cardiac heavy, (Afib with RVR, Afib, flutter, blocks), heart cath without interventions. CHF, COPD, sepsis, BH/CIWA, post ablations, dialysisSkillset: Tele/12-lead EKG interpretation (TRAVELERS ARE REQUIRED TO PASS TELE TESTS), Initiate/titrate drips (antiarrhythmics, Heparin, etc.). PIV insertion, chest tube/indwelling drain management, CBI, stables drips (heparin, lasix, protonix), antidysrhythmic (cardizem, tikosyn dosing, amio), nephrostomy tubes.
