Travel Nurse RN - CVICU

3x12 hrs, Nights

3-12 hour shifts (7p-7a)
Every other weekend to every third weekend. Dayshift weekends are Saturday, Sunday. Nightshift weekends are Friday, Saturday. 
Holiday Requirements: Yes, every other.

Years of Experience: 2 Years

Active IL license or confirmation that application process has been initiated 

Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS preferred, CCRN or PCCN a plus. 

SFMC - Adult Cardiac Intermediate Unit

Experience or 'Must have' skills: MUST have CVICU or Cardiac ICU background. 

2 solid years of CVICU experience (prefer more) with continuing to travel having ICU assignments and can take care of these patients without issue right off the bat.

Must be able to work at a fast paced. Must be able to interpret strips. 

Floating Requirements: Float to every level of care. Travelers are expected to take a full team. Travelers on Stepdown are expected to be able to float up to the ICU.

Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Patient Population – Stepdown patients from AHU ICU, TAVRs, Ablations, Watchmen Procedure, Micras, Mitral Clips, heart failure, trached and ventilated patients, overflow from other Stepdowns including COVID patients. 

Specialty Intervention Equipment – Swan Ganz, External Pacemakers. Lines – PICC, Midlines, CVC, Swans, Arterial Lines (radial and femoral).

Experience or 'Must have' skills: MUST have CVICU or Cardiac ICU background.
