Department: ER / Med Surg RN <ul><li>Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC</li><li>Nurse: Patient Ratios: 1-3:4 when ER is not busy will be taking a MS assignment as ER patients come and go, will jump into ER to manage those patients, then back to MS. </li><li>Nights: 1 RN can be paired with another RN or LPN and 1 paramedic- RN to fill in as charge if no perm RN staffed. </li><li>Days: 1 RN can be paired with 2 licensed staff either RNs or LPNs and 1 CNA- RN to fill in as charge if no perm RN staffed. - </li><li>Experience or 'Must have' skills: Good ER skills, time management, Organized, leader, comfortable floating between ER &amp; MS, want 2 years of ER experience, highly prefer first time travelers </li><li>Shifts &amp; Scheduling: 12 hr shifts 7-7 report room for all patients and potential for Block Scheduling for nights, self-scheduling- manager to work with travelers to balance shifts, staff willing to do trades.</li><li> Holiday Requirements: Try to do every other holiday. </li><li>Floating Requirements: Yes, nurses work all areas Med Surg, ER, Pediatrics, Swing Bed.</li><li> Scrub Color/Dress Code: Any color, clean &amp; professional.
