Description
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care to EP Lab patients using the nursing process
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate age- and culturally appropriate patient care
Assist with EP procedures including pacemakers, ICDs, loop recorders, ablations, LAA occlusions, extractions, tilt table studies, and autonomic testing
Care for high-acuity patients including ICU, VAD, and post-surgical patients
Collaborate with EP physicians, anesthesia, and ancillary teams
Maintain patient safety, confidentiality, and high-quality outcomes
Participate in research studies and quality initiatives as applicable
Adapt to schedule changes including late shifts as assigned
Requirements
Experience
EP Lab experience required
Scrub experience strongly preferred
Cath Lab experience considered for travelers
Licenses & Certifications
Ohio RN License or Compact License
BLS (AHA)
ACLS (AHA)
Education
Diploma of Nursing required
BSN preferred
