Position: Pediatric ED RN
Shift: Nights 5x8s (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Schedule: Based on unit needs
Experience:
Preferred: 2 years Pediatric ED experience
Licensure & Certifications:
Active, unrestricted Ohio RN License
CPR
PALS
Education: BSN required
Role Overview:
Provides professional nursing care in accordance with ANA standards and the Ohio Board of Nursing. Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to deliver patient- and family-centered care, adapts to changing census needs, and manages assigned patient populations based on acuity.
Floating Requirements:
Float across all ED sites, including Main ED and Mental Health Crisis Center
May float to South ED based on staffing needs
Required to float to Pediatric Med/Surg, PICU, NICU, or Transitional Care Unit when ED census is low
Care for 1–4 patients, depending on acuity
Scrub Color:
Navy scrubs (navy or black scrub pants per image policy)
