Description

Assignment Details:

Position: Registered Nurse – CVOR
Facility: Vanderbilt University Medical Center (Adult Hospital)
Unit: OR Float Pool (CVOR)
Start Date: February 9, 2026
Duration: 13 weeks
Schedule: 36 hours/week | 12-hour day shifts
Shift Time: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience
Ability to scrub and circulate cardiac surgeries
Prior travel experience required
Call required (rotated fairly with staff)
Adult patient population only (no pediatrics)
COVID vaccine series or approved exemption required by start date

1000+ bed hospital
56-bed OR with 5 procedural rooms
Wide variety of cases including open heart, transplant, trauma, neuro, vascular, robotics, and hybrid procedures
Level 1 Trauma Center with strong clinical support
