Description

Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to work at a Facility in Raleigh, North Carolina . These are registry positions with our company.

Pay Rate: $40 / hour
*W2

Shifts Available:

  • Regional Medical Center 1745 to 0615 hours, every other weekend and holidays, 36/48 schedule
  • Regional Medical Center; 0545 to 1815 hours, Every Other Weekend and Holidays, 36/48 Schedule
  • Outside Rounds, 0700 to 1930 hours; Every Other weekend and holidays, 36/48 -- Must have Correctional Experience

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least one year (12 months) of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse
  • Must be able to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of North Carolina
  • A valid and current BLS provider card (American Heart Association)
  • Ability to build rapport with patients
  • Compassionate and caring demeanor
  • Familiarity with medical terminology

Job Responsibilities:

  • Administer nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled patients
  • Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior
  • Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care
  • Maintain accurate patient medical records
  • Provide companionship and basic care to patients
  • Administer prescribed medications to patients
