Description

Coverslips at a minimal rate of 3 slides/min; labels and distributes slides for interpretation by the pathologist in a timelymanner. Assists with liver biopsies, fine needle aspirations, and retrieves fresh specimens in the main lab, cryostat lab, NGI suite,CT suite, and Electron Microscopy. Performs inquiry functions (technical, specimen number, and result) and troubleshoots problems This is a Histology Technician position requiring basic embedding, microtomy and staining techniques. HT(ASCP) or HTL(ASCP) cert required.
