Description
Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Waterford, MI
Employment Type: Full-Time
Pay: $38.00 – $54.00 per hour
Job Summary
We are seeking a licensed Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide assessment, diagnosis, and direct speech-language services to students with identified communication needs. This role supports expressive, receptive, and pragmatic language development through evidence-based practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct speech and language evaluations in accordance with MARSE and ASHA guidelines
- Provide direct therapy services to students with communication disorders
- Develop goals, document progress, and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams
- Complete Medicaid billing documentation as required
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech & Language Pathology
- Valid Michigan SLP License
- ASHA CCC or Clinical Fellowship (CF) eligible
- Strong evaluation, documentation, and communication skills
