Description

Job Summary
RN – Labor & Delivery (L&D) position at North Country Hospital, a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital located in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. The role includes Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Baby Unit coverage on the night shift, with flexibility to float to other units and assist with Progressive Care Unit overflow.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care for laboring, postpartum, and newborn patients
Manage mother–baby couplet care
Assist with overflow patients from the Progressive Care Unit as needed
Float to other units based on hospital needs
Deliver safe, patient-centered care in accordance with hospital policies and standards

Requirements

Experience

Prior Labor & Delivery experience required
Experience with Postpartum and Newborn care preferred
Comfort working in a Critical Access Hospital setting

Licenses and Certifications

Active RN license (Vermont or compact, as applicable)
BLS required
Additional L&D-related certifications preferred

Education

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
