Description
Description in short:
Outpatient Occupational Therapist role with 1:1 patient ratio in an adult outpatient/rehab setting. Patient population includes adults to geriatrics with conditions such as stroke, orthopedic (shoulder, hands, UE), and neurological diagnoses (MS, TBI, Guillain-Barré). No weekends, no call, and minimal floating within the facility. First-time travelers accepted.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year outpatient OT experience
- Lymphedema Certification – (hard requirement)
- BLS required
- GA State OT License
- Experience with assessment, evaluation, plan of care, reassessments, and discharge
- Skills in lifting/transfers, patient & family education, safety & injury prevention
- Experience with modalities (e-stim, ultrasound, paraffin, splinting preferred)
- Epic charting experience required
