Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT – Pediatrics)
Department: Respiratory Care (Pediatrics)
Contract Length: 26 Weeks
Tentative Start Dates: Jan 12, 2026
Schedule: 4×12-hour shifts Nights
Hours: 48 hours/week (Guaranteed)
Position Overview
Under general supervision, the Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT – Peds) provides comprehensive respiratory therapy services to pediatric patients across all age levels and care areas supported by the department. This role requires strong clinical judgment, teamwork, and the ability to function effectively in high-acuity and fast-paced environments.
Requirements
Education:
- Graduate of an approved Respiratory Care Program
Licensure & Certifications:
- Oklahoma Respiratory Care Practitioner License
- Registered by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- BLS (AHA) required upon hire
- ACLS (AHA) required within 3 months of hire
- RRT credential required
