28 bed Cardiovascular Care Unit that takes acute cardiac patients including
cath
lab patients (ablations,
pfoclosures, stents, pacers,
etc). We also take stroke patients and other PCU overflow as needed.
We are highly focused on safety and quality and have high expectations for documentation compliance and processes related to central lines/foleys/cdiff
and other HAIs. We pride ourselves on our team work and support from our charge nurses. Techs staff the unit as well.Type of equipment

We are focused on our 2X2 s 1)Nurse
Explain and 2) Nurse Courtesy and Respect. We conduct Nurse Leader Rounds on every patient, every day, including a pre-round where we ask the nurse what the patients preferred name is, a personal connection and how we can validate the 2X2 s. We also conduct a post round where we coach on anything that is not within our expectations and recognize anything that our patients said about their care. We
are monitoring white boards, tidiness of room, safety and quality measures.
Hospital Specifics-

CP Center, Primary Stroke Center, Colorectal COE, Bariatric COE, Ortho Certified

Must have:
ACLS, BLS, Basic
Dys,
NIH cert,
a good attitude and a team oriented mind.
