Travel Sleep Technologist – Gold Beach, OR

Start Date: January 26

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Schedule: 3x12 Nights, 6:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m.

Pay Range: $1,900–$2,038/week (gross)

Position Overview

A coastal medical facility in Gold Beach, Oregon is seeking an experienced Travel Sleep Technologist to support their night shift team. This role is ideal for a seasoned sleep professional who is confident working independently, skilled in overnight study acquisition, and comfortable responding to clinical events in a rural hospital setting. You’ll join a supportive team committed to high‑quality patient care and accurate diagnostic outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct overnight polysomnographic studies in accordance with AASM standards
• Prepare patients, apply sensors, and ensure high‑quality signal acquisition
• Monitor sleep stages, respiratory patterns, cardiac activity, and limb movements
• Identify and respond to respiratory or cardiac abnormalities during studies
• Score studies as required by the facility
• Document all procedures and patient interactions accurately
• Maintain equipment and ensure a safe, comfortable environment for patients

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of sleep tech experience
• RPSGT credential required
• Active Oregon license
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently on night shift
• Excellent communication and patient‑care skills
