Description
Position: RN- Whole House Resource Pool RN ICU/PCU/MS Float MUST be comfortable working ALL ICU PCU and MS units. comfortable working all 3 specialties and has worked with ratios of at least 1:5.
SCHEDULING DETAILS
• Contract Length/Shift Details: 3x12s 645p-715a 4x12s available by request 13-52 weeks available by request
• Charting: EPIC experience required
• Floating: Staffing needs are Re-evaluated every 4 hours so traveler could float 2-3 times per shift up to every 4 hours
• Weekend Requirement: May be EOW or 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week scheduling block • Holiday Requirement: Must work one holiday per 13-week contract
• Accept First-Time Travelers: Yes • Locals Accepted? Radius Rule: Yes. Refer to the Submittal Instructions for radius rule criteria • Pending License Accepted: Yes only if the candidate holds a single-state license from a non-compact state. Otherwise submission must include an active Virginia State or Compact RN/LPN license • RTO Block Special Scheduling Requests: ALL requests must be included with the submission • Call Off Policy: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2-weeks REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS • ACLS BLS NIHSS
REQUIRED CLINICAL SKILLS • Experienced in IV therapy phlebotomy Arterial line management central line care/management and blood product administration • Skilled in management of BiPAP/CPAP care of ventilated patient suctioning ETT NT • Proficient in cardiac monitoring dysrhythmia interpretation and management titrating cardiac drips and responding to emergencies via Rapid Response/Code teams • Capable of managing continuous IV sedation emergency medication titrating cardiac/vasoactive gtts IV insulin protocols • Background includes: 2 years of ICU experience from a large L1/L2 facility
