- Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Associate of Science in Nursing
Description
Outpatient Infusion clinic - 9 Infusion chairs - could see 7-10 patients a day, NP ratio is 1;3. 1 year of infusion or ONC exp. required. Will not accept a 1st time traveler. Prefer EPIC exp.
Infusions: Not just chemo - hydration, iron, antibiotics, biologics, various agents. Some chemo agents such as methotrexate (ONS no required)
Required skills: IV start skills, phlebotomy, port maintenance/access, PICC line mgt./access.
Mostly adults with some ped patients. Patint types: Rhematoid arthritis, Crohn's, bacterial infections, Hypermesis, hemalogic disorders, refills for Medtronic patient intrathecal pumps.
