<h3><strong>Job Description</strong></h3><p>We are seeking an experienced <strong>Labor &amp; Delivery Registered Nurse (RN)</strong> for a <strong>13-week night shift contract</strong> in Kansas. The ideal candidate will be confident in managing laboring patients, fetal monitoring, and newborn care in a fast-paced clinical environment.</p><p>The Labor &amp; Delivery RN will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to mothers and newborns throughout the labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum process while collaborating closely with the interdisciplinary care team.</p><p> </p><h3><strong>Responsibilities</strong></h3><ul><li>Provide direct patient care during <strong>labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery</strong></li><li>Perform and interpret <strong>fetal heart monitoring</strong></li><li>Assist with vaginal deliveries and C-sections as assigned</li><li>Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond appropriately to changes</li><li>Provide education and support to patients and families</li><li>Document care accurately and in compliance with hospital policies</li><li>Maintain a safe and supportive environment for patients and newborns</li></ul><h3><strong>Requirements</strong></h3><ul><li><strong>Labor &amp; Delivery RN experience</strong></li><li><strong>NRP </strong></li><li><strong>Intermediate Fetal Monitoring</strong></li><li><strong>BLS</strong></li><li>Active and unrestricted <strong>RN license</strong></li></ul>
