Description

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technician for a 13-week contract in Overland Park, KS. This role offers a consistent weekday schedule with rotating call responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be dependable, clinically competent, and comfortable working independently as well as part of a healthcare team.

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures per provider orders
Ensure patient safety, proper positioning, and image quality
Operate radiology equipment in accordance with protocols
Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
Participate in rotating on-call coverage as scheduled
Adhere to radiation safety standards and departmental policies

Requirements

Active Radiology Technologist license
ARRT certification (required)
Current BLS
Prior hospital or clinical radiology experience preferred
Ability to participate in rotating call schedule

Position Highlights

Consistent 4×10-hour day schedule
40 guaranteed hours per week
Midweek day off (Wednesdays)
Short-term contract with structured call rotation

Shift Details Days Worked: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday Hours: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM Wednesday Off Rotating Call Requirements: Call every Monday Call every 4th weekend
