Travel RN - Labor & Delivery (L&D)

Job Details

• Contract Length: 8 weeks
• Shift: Nights (7 PM - 7 AM), every other weekend required
• Call Shifts: 2 per scheduled period

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience
• Active Arkansas or multistate nursing license
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP
• Postpartum experience preferred

Job Description

The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing care during the antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases of obstetrical care to Labor and Delivery patients. This includes:

• Utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies
• Demonstrating critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership for safe delivery of care
• Maintaining clinical competencies through continuing education
• Delegating patient care priorities based on staff education and experience
• Providing direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care

Additional Information

• Position requires night shifts with every other weekend coverage
• Call shifts are part of the schedule
• Experience and certifications are mandatory for safe and effective patient care in L&D settings
