Respiratory Therapist – Urgent Need – Travel Assignment
Shifts: 12-hour rotating shifts (07:00–19:30 & 19:00–07:30) | rotating within same week if needed
Weekends/Holidays: Rotating
Start: ASAP | Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
Facility: Smaller, slower-paced; triage may require rapid response and patient transfer to main Boston hospital
Job Description:
Assess and provide diagnostic testing, treatment, and care to RT patients
Evaluate treatment effectiveness
Maintain department records
Experience / Skills Required:
Current MA Respiratory Therapist License
RRT
BLS required; NRP required; ACLS preferred
Must be able to draw arterial blood gases
EMR experience strongly preferred
Travel / Local Rule: Must live 50+ miles from facility; no local travelers accepted
Orientation: Biweekly
Hiring / Interview: NM to interview and offer; provide dates/times for interview upon submission
Time-Off Requests: All RTO must be submitted at time of application
Restriction: Travelers who have worked at Beth Israel Lahey Health (travel, permanent, or per diem) within the last 6 months are not eligible; must be separated for 6 months
