Description
Position: RN- Whole House Resource Pool RN ICU/PCU/MS Float (MUST be comfortable working ALL ICU, PCU, and MS units.
Please confirm your traveler is comfortable working all 3 specialties, and has worked with ratios of at least 1:5.
SCHEDULING DETAILS

13-52 weeks available by request
• Charting: EPIC experience required
• Floating: Staffing needs are Re-evaluated every 4 hours, so traveler could float 2-3 times per shift (up to every 4 hours)
• Weekend Requirement: May be EOW or 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week scheduling block
• Holiday Requirement: Must work one holiday per 13-week contract
• Accept First-Time Travelers: Yes
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS

• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
REQUIRED CLINICAL SKILLS
=========================
• Experienced in IV therapy, phlebotomy, Arterial line management, central line care/management, and blood product administration
• Skilled in management of BiPAP/CPAP, care of ventilated patient, suctioning (ETT, NT)
• Proficient in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, titrating cardiac drips, and responding to emergencies via Rapid Response/Code teams
• Capable of managing continuous IV sedation, emergency medication, titrating cardiac/vasoactive gtts, IV insulin protocols
• Background includes: 2 years of ICU experience from a large L1/L2 facility
