MRI Technologist

Location: Richmond, VA 23298 Unit: MRI Tech, CC100308 Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM (5x8 Mid Shift) Start Date: February 2, 2026 Assignment Length: 13 Weeks

About the Role

The MRI Technologist will support a high‑acuity imaging environment within a Level I Trauma facility. This role requires strong technical proficiency, the ability to work independently, and experience managing complex imaging needs in a fast‑paced clinical setting. Locals are accepted at the same rate.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high‑quality MRI examinations following established protocols and safety standards.
• Support Level I Trauma imaging needs with accuracy, urgency, and clinical judgment.
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams to ensure timely and accurate diagnostic results.
• Maintain detailed documentation within the facility’s imaging and patient record systems.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of MRI experience.
• Level I Trauma experience required.
• Ability to work Monday–Friday mid‑shift.

Certifications

Certifications marked with an asterisk are preferred.

• ARRT R
• BLS
• State Licensed*

Additional Details

• Locals accepted at the same rate.
• Weekend coverage only as needed.
• Floating may be required depending on operational needs.
• Guaranteed 40 hours per week; facility may call off up to six times during a 13‑week assignment.
