Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the telemetry unit.
• Monitor patient vital signs and cardiac rhythms using telemetry equipment.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient information accurately in electronic medical records.
• Support patients and their families by providing education and emotional support.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in the state of Vermont.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent hospital unit experience.
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred.
• Certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS (NIHSS required prior to start).
• Epic electronic health record system experience within the past 2 years.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in large, teaching hospital settings.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Flexibility to work 2 out of 4 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, New Year’s Day).
