Position Overview

HCA Florida Mercy Hospital is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Tech to support a high-volume, fast-paced cardiac catheterization unit. This role supports interventional cardiology, structural heart, peripheral, and EP procedures and requires call coverage.

Patient Ratios: 3:1
Shift Coverage: Days only
Call: Evenings & weekends required
Equipment: MacLab, GE, Philips
Charting: Meditech

Procedures Performed

Cardiac catheterizations
Interventional coronary cases
Structural heart procedures
Peripheral & peripheral interventions
Electrophysiology (EP) procedures

Requirements (Must Have)

BLS & ACLS
CVT or Radiology Technologist background
Cath Lab experience (acute care setting)

Preferred Qualifications

Strong team player
Critical thinker in high-acuity situations
Compassionate and patient-focused
Able to adapt quickly and work independently when needed

Dress Code

OR scrubs provided

* Day-shift Cath Lab assignment with evening and weekend call required * High-acuity cardiac and interventional environment * Experience with coronary, structural heart, peripheral, and EP procedures expected * Must be comfortable working as part of a fast-paced, collaborative Cath Lab team * OR scrubs provided by facility
