Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Location: San Antonio, TX 78229 Shift: Nights, 6:45 PM–7:15 AM (3x12) Assignment Length: 13 Weeks Start Date: January 19, 2026 Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week Open Positions: 4

This ICU RN position supports a high‑acuity medical‑surgical intensive care unit within a busy hospital environment. Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive critical care nursing to patients with multi‑system conditions.
• Perform continuous assessment, monitoring, and intervention for unstable patients.
• Administer medications, titrate drips, and manage advanced therapies per protocol.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate documentation within the facility’s EMR.
• Uphold safety, infection control, and ICU best practices at all times.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (state or compact).
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical‑care skills.
• Ability to work full 12‑hour night shifts.

Contract Details

• Standard 13‑week contract.
• 36 hours per week guaranteed.
• Night shift: 18:45–07:15.
