Experience Required: Minimum 1 year ICU experience
Required Certifications:
- BLS (AHA)
- ACLS (AHA)
License: Active Illinois RN license or proof that the application process has been initiated

Unit Overview – Critical Care

Number of Beds: 8
Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:2–3
Patient Population:
- Respiratory failure
- Post-surgical patients
- Post-CVA
- Post-trauma
- Cardiac patients
- Wound care
- IV antibiotics

Required Skills & Competencies

PEG tube care and feedings
CVC, PICC, and Midline usage and care
Tracheostomy care
Management of sedated and ventilated patients
Titration of vasopressors
Sedation and pain management drips
