Job Title
• Registered Nurse - CVOR

Location

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Night shifts, 4 shifts per week, 10 hours per shift

Key Responsibilities
• Provide specialized perioperative nursing care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) setting
• Assist with heart and lung transplants, aortic dissections, and ECMO procedures
• Scrub in for complex surgical cases requiring high-level cardiovascular skills
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner electronic charting system

Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 18 months of OR or CVOR experience, with Level I Trauma experience preferred
• Valid RN license in Indiana or a compact license in hand prior to start
• BLS certification required
• Willingness to float within the hospital and to affiliate facilities as needed
• Ability to work approximately 100 hours per six weeks, including one weekend call per period

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Previous experience with heart & lung transplants and ECMO procedures
• Certified in relevant perioperative specialties based on unit requirements
