Description

Surgical First Assistant – CVOR / Main OR

IMPORTANT – PRIVILEGING REQUIRED

Position requires a privileging process prior to start
- Approximate timeline: ~120 days from time of signature
Partner agency placements:
- Mandatory Pre-Application Fee: $125 per candidate for privileging
START DATE: Candidate must complete privileging prior to start
(Approximate timeline: 3 months)

HARD STOP – NON-NEGOTIABLE REQUIREMENTS

Required Experience:
- Cardiac
- Vascular
- Endovascular
- Thoracic
Required Certification (one of the following):
- CSFA
- NBSTSA
- NCCSA

Experience Requirements

Minimum Experience:
- 5 years preferred
- 3 years will be considered (clinical screen required)
First-Time Travelers: Accepted

Schedule & Call Requirements

Schedule: Days
Call:
- 1 weekday call per week
- 1 weekend every ~4 weeks
  (Subject to change based on departmental needs)
Weekends: Only required during call
Floating: Within facility and scope of practice, including to Main OR as needed
