- 2 years preferred for independent night-shift coverage
- 1–1.5 years considered ONLY if experience is from a high-risk / high-census L&D unit
First-Time Travelers: Accepted
Pending License: Accepted

Floating: Yes, based on unit needs
On-Call: Yes – 1 low-census shift per pay period

Travelers should expect to float to other units based on skill set

Floating Locations (System-Wide)

AYA Healthcare professionals may be required to float to other units and facilities to meet PH&S needs, including:

Milwaukie
Newberg
Portland
Hood River
Willamette Falls
Seaside
Saint Vincent

Seaside Floating Incentives

+$5/hour incentive for hours worked at Seaside
IRS mileage reimbursement provided
Hotel provided if floating for consecutive shifts
Facility will provide as much advance notice as possible when floating to Seaside
